Arbitrage Underdog Evergreen Review

Today I’ll be reviewing a software product called Arbitrage Underdog Evergreen.

[Note: All links have been updated to Arbitrage Underdog 5.0 as it is basically the same software with an updated name.]

Back in 2013, the original version of Arbitrage Underdog generated a ton of buzz – so much so that it won Warrior Plus’s only ever WSO Of The Year.

What does it do?

In a nutshell, it finds jobs on Craigslist in real-time while also finding people on Fiverr to outsource the work to for cheaper (thus, leaving you with the profit).  It does this via a split-screen layout, with Craigslist on the left side and Fiverr vendors on the right.

AU Search

I don’t normally list a negative aspect this soon in my reviews, but let’s cut to the chase.  It’s not Mac compatible.  As a Mac user myself, this is an inconvenience, but I can get around it by either installing Parallels onto my computer or using my Boot Camp partition.  Personally, I have both, although Parallels is easier.

In terms of what to search for, most people use logo design as their example of choice.  While that’s fine and dandy, it’s certainly not the only option.

Here are a few ideas to search for:

  • Logo Design
  • Ebook Cover
  • SEO
  • WordPress Website
  • Graphic Design

I’d also recommend trying different variations of each term (logo, logo design, logo designer).

The search options you have available are quite extensive.  Keep in mind, the more you search for at once, the longer the total search will take.  Searching the entire US (Black Label Edition) will probably take around 10 minutes, depending on the search term.

In the image below would’ve brought up more than 486 results if I hadn’t cancelled it.  I figured nearly 500 results was enough for this example.  The search starts off on a delay and then slams you with an avalanche of results.  In other words, don’t think it’s not working if you don’t see results the moment you hit the search button.

AU Search Options

Based on my experience, you will have to stop the Fiverr search at some point.  If you don’t, it’ll just keep going and going.  I got over 1,000 results returned and it only ran for about a minute.  You’ll have to wait to run the Fiverr search until the Craigslist search is completed as they can’t both run at once.

AU Fiverr 2

How Does This Work?

Let’s say Sam put an ad on Craigslist wanting a logo made for $100.  On the other side, let’s say James has a Fiverr gig where he charges $20 to create a logo.  You agree to get the logo made for Sam for $80, because you want to offer him a discount (not required).  He pays you $80, you pay James $20 for his gig, and you just made $60 to keep for yourself.  All you have left to do is email Sam the logo.

Can this be done without Arbitrage Underdog Evergreen?

Yes, but it’s much more difficult and convoluted.  The strength of AUE is that it searches Craigslist in real-time.  This means you get results instantly as soon as they’re posted to Craigslist.  Otherwise, the postings are on a delay of a day or more, and the early bird catches the worm.

While the software does make things much easier, there is still work involved.  That probably seems obvious to anyone with half a brain cell, but it’s worth mentioning to shiny object enthusiasts.

With that said, it’s pretty easy to use, and features detailed training that allows anyone to use it effectively.  Very powerful for real estate searches, as well as other non-IM related searches.

The Main Offer

The front end offer is the standard version of Arbitrage Underdog Evergreen.  Here’s what it comes with:

The Upsell / One Time Offer

After purchasing the main offer, you’ll be presented with an option to buy the Black Label Edition.  While it isn’t required to make the main offer work, it will unlock the full flexibility that most people will want.

Here’s what the Black Label Edition comes with:

[UPDATE]  Arbitrage Underdog 5.0 has a second upsell called Success Circle.

The Cons

  • PC only / Not Mac compatible (can be fixed with Parallels)
  • Not “autopilot” passive income

As I’ve stated before, you’ll need Parallels or equivalent to run it on your Mac.  This also isn’t passive income, so you won’t make money unless you’re actively searching for new listings on a regular basis.

The Pros

  • Fastest way to search Craigslist on the planet
  • Searches Craigslist & Fiverr side-by-side
  • A scalable business model

This software is the fastest Craigslist search tool on the planet.  It’s even faster than Craiglist itself.  With the Black Label Edition, you can search all US states & internationally at the same time.  If you get creative, you can go beyond fiverr, but it’s integration makes things easier overall.  Although this isn’t a passive income model, it is a scalable income model.  As long as you’re willing to go find new clients, you can scale this up as much as you want.  The best way to make money with this is to think outside the box.
